CUB SCOUT ROUNDTABLE INFORMATION

Whether you are a Cub Scout Leader or just looking for information on the Scouting Program, come to our Monthly Roundtable.

Roundtable is the first Thursday of each month
Immanuel Lutheran School
200 N. Plum Grove Road,
Palatine. 7:30PM

CUB SCOUT ROUNDTABLE! The place to go to get information on how to do activities relating to the Cub Scout theme for the month, ideas for ceremonies, crafts ideas, how to simplify those Webelos Activity Badges, meet with other leaders from around the District, get first hand information on upcoming events in the District and have a fun with other leaders like yourself.

Roundtables are conducted monthly on the district level by the District Roundtable Commissioner and staff for the purpose of giving adult leaders the skills and ideas they need to deliver an exciting Scout program. The subject of each roundtable is selected to emphasize important aspects of Scouting and generally follows the Cub Scout and Webelos Scout Program Helps.

Signal Hill strives to educate and support its leaders. They know that educated and supported leaders ensures the scout program remains a high quality program for local youth. Keeping to this model of excellence, Signal Hill’s 2007/2008 District Roundtable Commissioner and staff is providing material for this Roundtable webpage.

This page contains information about Signal Hill’s Roundtable meetings, containing but not limited to: upcoming Roundtable themes, monthly handouts, Program Helps, and many other useful leader tools. However, it is not the intent of this webpage to be a destination of all the information a leader would ever need, but rather, a tool of support and encouragement for our leaders as they grow and learn new ways of providing a quality program for our scouts.

Check back every month to see new and useful things.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Roundtable Commissioner and staff as follows:

Don't forget to pick up handouts: General handouts for ceremonies, skits and songs, Den Leader handout for crafts and Den activities, Fourth or Fifth Grade Webelos handouts on monthly Activity Badge.
